Banking sorted… concentrating on the important things!
Aug 23rd
I’ve finally switched banks. Something I should have done years ago. Bye Abbey!
Now I have finally started concentrating on the important things and looking forward to beginning my second year at uni. This week I’ve done a far amount on Ferrari Fans but I still have not got round to writing some articles up which I plan to do shortly. I really want to get some more written up because I don’t feel it should just be superkimi writing them all but me contributing too. It would be unfair for him to produce and me not to really in that sense. Most of the articles I plan to write are automotive/motorsport engineering based and will be quite technical in depth.
I have a lot of other plans in store this week for Ferrari Fans… mainly rewriting some of the content on site. A few days ago I updated the rank set to the one you see below. I think they look a lot easier on the eye and more attractive.
This week will consist of work… more work, driving to and from work. Relaxation and the odd spot of work on Ferrari Fans. All sounds pretty good to me but I am sure the plans will change over the course of the week.
I plan to keep updating this often just been busy over the last few days. Till next time.. cya
Driving Exam
May 17th
So I have booked my driving exam. Date is not going to be shared because I don’t want anyone to know when it is. Don’t want to have to break the news if I fail
All I can say is I am looking forward to it.
Thanks to the community and articles over at 2pass I am feeling confident about it
That’s all I am going to say..
Driving Lesson No.11
Apr 13th
Today I had a good lesson. Did parallel parking, turn in the road and left reverse turn. We didn’t get onto Bay parking this week
My instructor says my driving is going well and we should be looking at booking a test in about two to three weeks!! I am happy with my driving and will go out in my mums car on Sunday to practice bay parking.
Looking forward to next weeks lesson.
Theory Passed!
Apr 2nd
I passed my theory today!
35/35 Multiple choice, 51/75 Hazard Perception
The hazard perception was longer, harder and even more boring then I expected. The multiple choice theory was as I expected not too hard. Happy to get 35/35!
All those who are thinking about taking their theory soon think about it harder!
The questions are increasing to 50 in September

Driving Lessons going well…
Mar 23rd
My driving lesson on Friday went well again.
This week I did parallel parking (for the first time) and continued practising the turn in the road. I am not too bad at the turn in the road. Manoeuvres aren’t too bad although personally I like driving and not focusing on the manoeuvres. But I know they are essential.
My driving is a lot better and I am pleased with it.
Look forward to my other lessons!
More Driving
Mar 17th
I didn’t have a driving lesson as planned on Friday as my instructor had to attend a funeral.
However I had a lesson on Saturday from 2:30pm till 4:30pm disappointingly it conflicted with my F1 viewing pleasure. However I enjoyed the driving. My instructor says I am above average just a few areas need refining such as my cornering.
My theory isn’t too far off now. It’s booked for the 2nd of April. Drove my mums car in the car park again this week. It was great. Learning manoeuvres such as bay parking and turn in the road.
Can’t write into detail about this right now. Was uneventful though this week
Parking and the turn in the road
Mar 11th
Today, I went to the Makro car park again to practice my turn in the road and bay parking manoeuvres. This was the first time I did bay parking!
I pulled this off with my mum’s supervision (in her car)
I drove around for a while hitting 25mph around the car park then I positioned myself at the far end of the car park ready to do the turn in the road. There were plenty of cones around because learners go there all the time to practice this so there were cones everywhere. I moved some to try and simulate the road scenario
My mums clutch is quite stiff so the fact I managed to pull this manoeuvre off first time stalling once is remarkable. I did this again and managed to execute it successfully coming close to the kerbs though!
Bay parking was to prove more difficult then this but I managed to pull this off by placing a marker cone behind the bay I was reversing into. My mum gave me instruction on this. I manage to park in it perfectly. No wheels over the lines.
I enjoyed it this week but prefer just driving then having to get all these stupid manoeuvres correct. More to come on my driving soon
